Continueing to work with the language. I am posting to fullfill the requirement for a journal. I love working the language. I could spend hours just practicing and listening. I reviewed some flash cards that we made. Pictures and words from the Walmart racks and we added definitions to the backs. I will bring them to class in February for viewing. I loved watch the movies. It helps with the flash card too, they were awesome. My grand sons practiced with them too. They really liked them. We had some difflculty with the spelling. We had repeats and repeats. Smile. This is a very good learning tool. Dedahgwash
Hi still trying to get on board. I continue to practice with the flash cards every day. It is so fun working with them. I love hearing the words and then typing and saying them and checking on the voice nameter?I deveoped some of my own cards for language class, I will bring them with when we have class next time. I would also like to bring my Bingo cards and let you check them out. They were fun to make and we had fun using them in class. smile. We loved playing pictionary, we drew a card andthen we had it act it out. It was great fun. All the students loved it. We also made some nursery rhymes and poems in Ojibwe. They are also available to look at. Hope you get this journal posting. Phyllis
Worked on the flash cards and continue to learn new words, it is fun except for the spelling part. I am practicing spelling with the double vowel system. I forget so many times the need for double vowel. I blush in embarassment when they tell you your score. Fun though, even my grandsons are using the language software and loving it.
Praise the Creator I am posting on line. What a wonderfull feeling. Thanks to everyone for all the help on the online and techy stuff. I think I have finally arrived at the tribal blog site and can do some posting, just from my work site though. Have to adjust that to work from home.
I have found you in ciber space! Quite challenging isn't it? I have been a little confused finding you as there have been so many different names/sites you go by. Hope you get it figured out! It took some time, but I think I finally have.
Hi Brian Well here I am again. Trying to journal. I did print off some pages and will let you view them. This was just to show you that I have been trying to blog all along, but not being able to send them out. I have 5 followers on line. I was able to read messages from them. I redid my password, so maybe this will work. If not I will just print it out and keep it. Miigwech wiidookaazoyan.
